Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a avian field technician. The crew member would begin by helping out with pre-field logistics and later receive training in researching Yellow-billed cuckoos. Our work consists of callback surveys,nest searching, nest monitoring and telemetry. Field work requires getting up pre-dawn,sometimes working alone, in difficult vegetation and humid and hot conditions.

We desire a person to start by May 19,latest arrival May 25. The end date is flexible up to August 15th. Salary is $2,000 to $2,300 per month depending on your experience. Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who does not mind grunt work,moving gear, vehicles etc. Mechanical and computer skills ideal. Birding skills and previous avian field work are desired,though we will consider an enthusiastic and hard working new birder.
