Education Director, Waikiki Aquarium, University of Hawaii at Manoa
Minimum Monthly Salary: $3,447

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Serves as the Education Director for the Waikiki Aquarium (WAQ). Oversees all aspects of WAQ education and marine conservation programs: administration; coordination; structure, content and curriculum; budget.
Supervises, trains, supports, evaluates Education Department staff, students and volunteers, and establishes and monitors their work schedules. Manages and evaluates contract professionals.

Minimum Qualifications include:

Possession of a baccalaureate degree in a field of biology relevant to marine science or marine resource conservation or related field; or education and 3 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for a field of biology relevant to marine science or marine resource conservation ; or equivalent education/training or experience.
Considerable working knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in education and marine conservation biology as demonstrated by the broad knowledge of the full range of pertinent standard and evolving concepts, principles and methodologies.
