Fisheries Technician-CANADA


Qualifications:
- electrofishing certification
- valid standard first aid/CPR certification
- preference will be given to candidates proficient in fish identification and with extensive field experience
- valid driver’s license
- experience working with volunteers

Job Duties:
- assist with fish inventory
- data collection, entry, and analysis
- volunteer co-ordination and supervision
- report preparation

Additional Information: The successful candidate will be involved in Trout Unlimited Canada’s Fish Rescue of Irrigation Canals (http://www.tucanada.org/NP_FishRescue.shtml). This is an intensive effort to collect stranded fish from specific irrigation canals in Southern Alberta. Workdays may include weekends and holidays.
