Period

The nesting season starts on may 1st and ends on October 31st

Location

We are located at the central coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico, between the cities of Playa del Carmen and Tulum

Background Information

We are a program with 25 years of continuity, also we are one of the most important marine turtles conservation programs in Mexico, our beaches are the main nesting sites for the loggerhead and green turtles.

Duties

Night patrols from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, checking the turtles and their nests, relocate them if necessary and release the hatchlings.
Collaborate cleaning the facilities and cooking.

Requirements

Skills: team work, good communication skills, willing to live in shared accommodation.
Fitness: used to take long walks along sandy and rocky beaches.
Education: Spanish speaking preferable but not indispensable, better if read, English spoken indispensable. non degree indispensable but high school.
At least a month enrolment

Benefits/Costs

We provide you lodging and meals, must cover travel and personal expenses.
