Wildlife Biologist

Agency: Transcon Environmental, Inc.
Location: Mesa, AZ
Job Description: Transcon Environmental, Inc., an environmental consulting firm is looking for an entry to mid-level wildlife biologist. This position would involve conducting wildlife and plant surveys and assessments for compliance with the Endangered Species Act, as well as other wildlife and plant protection laws and regulations. Other duties may include construction monitoring and jurisdictional water delineations. This position is based out of Mesa, AZ, but may involve travel throughout Arizona as well as Utah and California. This position would start as a part-time position, but could easily lead to fulltime employment. To apply please submit a cover letter and resume via email.
Qualifications: This position will be filled by a entry to mid-level biologist. Although not necessary, previous experience in the environmental consulting field or experience with wildlife and plant protections is favorable. Other qualifications deemed favorable include experience with conducting desert tortoise surveys, wetland and jurisdictional water delineations, and any work with species protected under the Endangered Species Act that occur in the W. United States.
