Evolutionary diversification of the chromatin proteome


A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Richard Jorgensen at El Laboratorio Nacional de Genomica para la Biodiversidad (LANGEBIO) in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to study evolutionary diversification of the chromatin proteome / epigenome in eukaryotes (primarily plants, animals, and fungi), especially with respect to the evolution of 'dialects' of the 'histone language'. Requires Ph.D. with experience and publications in the area of molecular phylogenetics, ability to supervise students, and good English proficiency.
