WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation) is dedicated to saving whales and dolphins and works to create a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free.
WDC is looking for a passionate Centre Co-ordinator to support the Centre Manager in delivering a high quality visitor experience at the Scottish Dolphin Centre in North East Scotland. This busy visitor centre is based in a beautiful location at the mouth of the River Spey where visitors can watch for the Moray Firth dolphins and learn about the local wildlife.
You will oversee the day to day running of the Scottish Dolphin Centre, the volunteer programme and be responsible for marketing and promotion of the Centre and the events programme. You will be need good interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of organisation and administrative skills and the ability to prioritise a work load. Previous experience of working with volunteers, marketing and promotion and working with the general public is essential.
The role is based at the Scottish Dolphin Centre in Spey Bay, Moray. WDC offers a flexible 35 hour working week, a 25 day holiday package, and we participate in the Childcare Vouchers scheme. You will work five days of seven. Weekend work required.
