We currently have field assistant positions available in Shark Bay, Western Australia. The postition would last from 6-8 weeks begining early April, 2013, with duties including animal observation, fish trapping, shark tagging, seagrass monitoring/collection, sample processing, data entry/management and other various responsibilites that come along with living in a remote field location. Past research experience is preferred but not required. Preference is given to applicants holding current scientific diver certification.
